National Weather Service says severe weather is coming to Temple

Monday will be wet, windy and loud, according to the latest National Weather Service forecast.
According to meteorologists, Temple has a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms beginning at 4 a.m., with wind gusts of up to 25 mph.
The storms are expected to intensify after 7 a.m. The chance of rain is 100 percent and between a half-inch and three-quarters of an inch are expected. Wind gusts could reach 45 mph Monday morning and afternoon.
Storms will continue Monday night, and start to taper off around 1 a.m.
Some of Monday’s storms could be severe and damaging wind, large hail and tornadic activity is possible.
Tuesday will be breezy but sunny. Gusts could reach 30 mph.
