Our Town Temple is partnering with its readers and the Un-Included Club to provide free one-year subscriptions to young Temple-area residents who may not be able to buy a subscription.

The Un-Included Club was established in 2009 as a place to separate young residents from anything negative. Doree Collins, executive director of the organization, and her volunteers teach children about the arts and creativity, and they help kids learn and grow. The kids are taught at an early age to invest in their own futures.

A Young Reader Donation will help educate Un-Included Club youth about their city, allow them to read about successful small businesses, and help them stay on top of upbeat current events.

We are asking readers to support this project in the form of subscription donations. For every subscription the community purchases for Un-Included Club members, Our Town Temple will match that donation with a complimentary subscription to the organization. The goal is to provide 100 subscriptions for Temple-area youths.
